The Artisan Story
Suman Sonthalia is a designer and craft practitioner recognised for Warli art and its application to contemporary home décor and gifting. Through her Aakriti practice she has used traditional visual language across products while also training large numbers of women. Her work represents a market-facing interpretation of Warli beyond its original Maharashtra setting.
