The Artisan Story
V. Panneer Selvam is a Tamil Nadu practitioner recognised with the 2019 Shilp Guru for Tanjore painting. His award places him among the senior custodians of a demanding devotional art form that combines drawing, relief, colour and gold. For website publication, further field documentation of his training lineage and studio practice is recommended.
