Reva Shankar Sharma comes from a Nathdwara Pichhwai and miniature-painting family. Trained from a young age in traditional devotional imagery, he became known for Krishna-centred compositions made with fine drawing, organic pigments and gold. He has demonstrated and taught his methods widely, helping carry Nathdwara painting into contemporary art contexts.
